AGHA Hydrogen purification is mainly accompanied by electrolytic water hydrogen production equipment. It uses water electrolysis hydrogen as raw material, undergoes catalytic deaeration and cooling, adsorption and drying, and then passes through a filter to remove oxygen, water vapor and dust from the hydrogen, thereby obtaining high-purity hydrogen. The purity of high-purity hydrogen can reach 99.9995%.
The purification treatment of hydrogen after electrolyzing water to produce hydrogen mainly focuses on removing impurity gases from it. These impurity gases mainly include oxygen, water vapor, as well as trace amounts of nitrogen, carbon monoxide and methane, etc. Due to the low content of components other than oxygen and saturated moisture, and the fact that most downstream application scenarios are not sensitive to these components, they are usually not treated separately. However, in some specific hydrogen application scenarios, there may be strict requirements for certain components, and in such cases, it is necessary to add removal devices specifically.
In industry, for the oxygen and saturated moisture in hydrogen, methods such as catalytic deoxidation, pressurized freeze-drying and variable-temperature adsorption drying are mainly adopted for treatment. These methods constitute the core hardware functions of the purification section at the back end of electrolytic water hydrogen production. Among them, catalytic deoxidation utilizes a catalyst to promote the reaction between impurity oxygen in hydrogen and hydrogen to form water, thereby effectively removing oxygen.
